DigIN on the Farm is proud to manage ONLINE FARMERS' MARKETS for northwestern New Jersey Farmers.

All of our markets are GROWERS ONLY Markets, meaning that the farmers can only sell what they grow.  There are
provisions for farmer vendors to represent other local farms in a mutually beneficial relationship, offering our
customers even more product ALL local, and all direct. All products are marked clearly with FARM OF ORIGIN.  We
are always looking to develop new markets for local communities.
How does an online farmers' market work?

Easy!  Just like a regular market, vendors pay a
fee for a booth. At our market, fees are based on
SALES ONLY, so if you don't sell, you don't pay
anything. This way, DigIN on the Farm's online
market is risk-free for farmers.  It also is risk-free
for customers, as each registered user is allowed
to try our online market for TWO TRIAL ORDERS
before paying the annual $10.00/year fee to
continue to use the service. Then, continue
ordering AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE, as OFTEN or
    as INFREQUENTLY as you like.

You order from the comfort of your home, anytime
during our "OPEN SHOP" hours.  We are open for
a minimum of 36 hours each order cycle.  We have
a predetermined pickup date and time- Our North
Warren market's currrent pickup is Fridays, at
Race Farm's Route 94 stand, in Blairstown, from 4:
    30-6:30pm.

Your order is ready and waiting for you!  ONE
STOP SHOPPING from local farmers, bakers
dedicated to local food use, and artisans using
    natural farm products.

CURRENT VENDORS:  LL Pittenger Farm all-
natural meats; Race Farms produce, Best's Fruit

to have it up and running by May! We need a
"critical mass" of registered customers to do so.

    Testimonials from registered users:
    March 2009:

The online market works great because of the
convenience and variety that you will not get at just one
outdoor farm stand. It saves gas & time as well as effort. I will
still be using this service in the summer months & are grateful
for all of your efforts- June

We are often crazy on weekends and I have decided to
remain a
customer of yours rather than renew at a community
supported garden, because it gives me more freedom of
choice- Danielle

I would say that I would continue to use the online service
even ‘in-season’ when the other markets open for the variety
of products offered (meats, coffee, etc.) and to continue
supporting local business in my area. Having such a great
assortment of products allows me to shop on line as well as
locally at the markets because of the variety of items I would
purchase on a regular basis. Thanks for asking and for
creating a fantastic resource for those of us who choose to
‘buy fresh, buy local’.- Denise

Convenience is the most beneficial- its easier to fit in time
in the day to go on the computer for 10 min then drive a
bunch of places. Also things you would have to hear about
through the grapevine, such as a specific kind of meat being
at this or that farm, you can find out about with ease on the
website. Also a lot of farmers markets are open at different
times, so you have to make multiple trips to get everything,
this is only one trip, which makes it easier to eat local all the
time, rather then just when you manage to get to all the farms
you need for all your ingredients or courses.- Jenna

It’s easy to make the order and then you’re committed,
whereas a trip to the farm stand may get crowded out by
other plans. We probably will use DigIN during growing
season. - Scott
